Sitemap XML WordPress Plugin by WTM LAB

Improve your site’s SEO by ensuring that search engines index your important content. WTMLAB-Sitemap provides:

• Four separate sitemap endpoints:
• Normal Sitemap: /sitemap.xml
• Google News Sitemap: /sitemap-news.xml
• RSS Sitemap: /sitemap-rss.xml
• HTML Sitemap: /sitemap-html.xml
• Granular control over content inclusion (posts, pages, categories, tags, custom taxonomies, author URLs, date archives).
• Custom URLs: Add your own URLs with custom priority and change frequency.
• Google News Options: Set the publication name and language, and add custom news URLs.
• Per-item Exclusion: Exclude individual posts, pages, taxonomy terms, or author pages from the sitemap.
• Automatic Search Engine Pinging: Notifies Google and Bing when new content is published.

Installation

1. Click New Plugin from Plugins tab.
2. Search wtmlab-sitemap plugin and download.
3. Activate the plugin via the WordPress admin.
4. Navigate to Settings → WTMLAB-Sitemap to configure your options.

In the Normal Sitemap settings, each content section has an “Include” toggle. When enabled, you can enter a numeric priority (0.0–1.0) and select the change frequency from a drop-down list.
